Choosing the number of bins
A rule of thumb is to take the number of observations and divide by
10,
but here you can try doing it interactively:

- Start by choosing a data set, say baseball.
and on the right click on ''accept data set''.
- Then choose histograms.
- Choose one of the available variables on the right,
say salary.
- click on update to see the histogram.
- Try changing the number of bins and clicking update again.
