A  short abstract: The association between two random variables has been
studied through the Gini method and the Pseudo Lorenz curve. The work  was
motivated by the following question:How much of the concentration of income
in a given community could be explained by the corresponding concentration
of a related variable- say, the number of years of formal education completed?
