I am currently a fourth year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at Stanford University. Professor Persi Diaconis is my research advisor. I have earned Bachelor of Statistics and Master of Statistics degrees from the Indian Statistical Institute. My research focuses on applied probability problems that arise from statisitcs and Monte Carlo simulation. My current work has been in the areas of running time analyses of Markov chains and isomorphisms between Markov processes and Gaussian fields.
